How to unpack and install the mower?

Please follow the steps below to complete the unboxing and installation of the mower:

1) Unboxing

Refer to the App Installation Guide to check if any components are missing.

If you find any missing parts, please contact our RoboUP® Service Team: service@iroboup.com.

If all parts are complete, proceed to installation.

2) Installation Steps:

① Charging Station location selection: First, choose an open, flat place with no obstacles within a 2 m radius in front and a good WiFi signal to place the Charging Station. Note that the Charging Station should be 3 m away from trees, walls, and roofs, and should not be placed in the middle of the lawn to avoid the charging line being cut.

② RTK Base Station location selection: Choose an open place for the RTK Base Station, and be careful not to have trees, walls, etc. blocking it, otherwise, it will affect the RTK reception signal.

③ Installation:

1.  Place the Charging Station and RTK Base Station in a suitable location.

2. Assemble the RTK Base Station together with the ground stakes and other components, and use the RTK cable to connect the RTK Base Station to the Charging Station. Use an extension cable as needed.

Note: Two extension cables are included: one for the Charging Station and one for the RTK Base Station. Use them as needed to ensure proper placement.

3. Connect the Charging Station to the power adapter. If needed, place the extension cable between the Charging Station and the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a standard power outlet to power the Charging Station.

4. Wait at least 3 minutes to allow the RTK Base Station to acquire sufficient GNSS satellite signals. When the indicator light of the Charging Station is on and the indicator light of the RTK Base Station turns to solid blue, it means that the Charging Station and RTK Base Station are powered on and the RTK signal is good.

Note: If the RTK signal is poor, remove the RTK Base Station from the Charging Station and use the RTK extension cable to reposition it at a higher or more open location.

5. Use the supplied long anchor screws and Allen key to secure the Charging Station to the ground.

6. RTK accessory kit installation:

This kit allows the RTK Base Station to be installed in a more optimal location, ensuring better RTK signal reception for the mower. 

It is particularly useful for large mowing areas with multiple obstructions. To enhance RTK signal coverage, the RTK Base Station can be mounted at a higher position above obstructions, such as on a wall.

For installation, the user should first determine a suitable position for the RTK Wall Mounting Rod, then attach the RTK Base Station to it. Finally, the RTK Adapter and Extension Cable can be used to connect the RTK Base Station directly to a household power outlet, removing the need to draw power from the Charging Station.
