What is the most frequently asked Q&A about mapping?

RoboUP - 2024/01/02

Q1 Does the map support zooming in and out?

Supported, just use two fingers. If it fails to operate, you can check the APP version number and mobile phone system.

Q2 Under what circumstances can the map not be zoomed in or out?

Currently, it only automatically builds maps and does not support zooming in or out. All other maps support it.

Q3 Under what circumstances is it recommended to use the auto-mapping function?

If there are obvious boundaries around the lawn, such as fences or cement boundary lines, you can use the automatic mapping function.

Q4 Under what circumstances is it recommended to use the manual mapping function?

If there is no obvious boundary around the lawn, such as a fence or cement boundary line, you can use the manual mapping function. Or if there is a boundary line but the automatic chuck does not work well, it is also recommended to use the manual mapping function to rebuild the map.

Q5 How many maps/areas can be built at most?

Currently, a map supports up to 10 areas.

Q6 How many passages are supported between different boundaries?

Up to 5 channels are supported between different boundaries, so during actual operation, the mower will choose the nearest channel to pass through.

How can I connect the mower to my home Wi-Fi on the RoboUP App? Does the mower support connecting to WPA-3 encrypted Wi-Fi?
