How to Change Your RoboUP Robot Mower Blades

Vane. M - 2025/07/02

Using a RoboUP robot mower to automatically maintain your lawn truly frees up your hands and gives you more time to enjoy life. But with proper maintenance, you can extend the good times even further.

One key task is keeping the blades sharp, so your mower can consistently deliver clean, even cuts.

What you'll need:

- Gloves

- Screwdriver

- Replacement blades

- RoboUP mower

Blade Replacement Steps:

1. Make sure the mower is turned off.

2. Put on your gloves.

3. Turn the mower over and inspect the blade condition. Under normal use, replace the blades every 2 weeks, or every 4 weeks if they show minimal wear.

4. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the blades and take the blades off.

5. Your package includes 24 replacement blades. Each blade has two cutting edges; flip to the second edge before using a new blade.

6. Replace all three blades and their corresponding screws.

7. Tighten the screws securely to ensure safe operation. Use the unused slots for the next round of replacements.

And that's all, folks. That's the full process for replacing the blades. You can also check our video here: How to Replace Robot Mower Blades

If you have extra time, or if it’s the off-season, you can also apply a little oil to the blades to prevent rust.
